Objective

The student can recognize the importance of communication planning as a strategic tool and a factor in the company's results. The student can analyze the communication methods used in the company and utilize different means in communication planning. The student can prepare a communication plan in practice.

Content

- Concepts of corporate communication (e.g. goal-oriented communication, meaningful community communication)
- Crisis and change communication
- Analyzing the current and target state of communication
- Communication plan and communication strategy

Qualifications

First year communication studies.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student knows how to analyze the external and internal communication methods of communities, and the student has the skills to prepare and implement a communication plan in practice. The student can universally recognize the importance of communication and communication strategy in the operation of the community and as a factor in the community's results. The student has returned the assignments, but there is a lot to be completed. The student can unilaterally analyze community communication and participation in discussions has been minimal, so there are still gaps in assignments and information.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student knows how to analyze the external and internal communication methods of communities, and the student has the skills to prepare and implement a communication plan in practice. The student can recognize the importance of communication and communication strategy in the operation of the community and as a factor in the community's results. The student can analyze community communication, for example by utilizing different feedback systems and research. The tasks and information returned by the student are quite versatile, but there is still room for improvement in finishing and applying the information.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student knows how to analyze and develop the external and internal communication methods of the communities, and the student has the skills to prepare and implement a detailed and concrete communication plan in practice. The student can recognize the importance of communication and communication strategy in the operation of the community and as a factor in the community's results. The student also knows how to analyze community communication, for example by utilizing different feedback systems and research. The student's participation is active, and the assignments and information are versatile both in terms of finishing and application.
