Objective
Students master the basics of financial management, marketing, human resource management and law to an extent required for running a business. Students are able to use the essential modules of ERP-system. Students can explain the principles of business operations and how different operations are linked with each other. Students are able to work in different business tasks with a service-oriented attitude. They can work in a group and analyse the situation of the firm in general.

The student has carried out work and participated as instructed. The student is able to plan business operations. The objective of the course is for the student to be able to define the basics of financial administration, marketing, personnel management, and law, which are needed to maintain a business. The student is able to function in different roles in a business with a proper service attitude. The student is able to function in a group and is able to analyze a company's performance.

- group assignments: marketing assignment (30 %)
- individual work: exam in law (40 %); exam in running a business (30 %)
