Objective

Student is able to interpret meanings occurring in the changing work settings and the effects these changes have on management. Student recognizes meaning of the anticipation of the future and uses different foresight methods. Student recognizes and explains changes in management principles.

Content

The changing social and health field as a context of management.
Changes in the principles and focal points of management.
Anticipation of the future and different foresight methods.
Management in social work.

Student knows and is able to describe changes in the management contexts and principles in the social and health care. Student recognizes changes in management principles, anticipation of the future and different foresight methods.

Student is able to compare and evaluate changes in the management contexts and principles in the social and health care. Student recognizes and explains changes in management principles and anticipation of the future and can use different foresight methods.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Student is able to compare and critically evaluate changes in the management contexts and principles in the social and health care. Student recognizes, critically explains and comments changes in management principles, anticipation of the future. Student can use different foresight methods.
