Objective

The student
- knows the main regulations related to occupational health care and is able to act in accordance with the principles of good occupational health care practice when planning and implementing public health work that maintains and rehabilitates the health and working capacity of the working age people and the working community.
-skills the occupational health care service process and is able to cooperate in occupational health with client and employer.
-is able to identify and assess the importance of work, working conditions and the work community for the health and working capacity of the working age people.
-is able to plan and implement a workplace visit/survey and on the basis of it plan the necessary other occupational health care services, provide guidance and counseling and make the necessary development proposals to promote the health and working capacity of clients (individual, work community, workplace).
-is able to plan and carry out key exposure-based and work-maintaining health examinations.
-is able to work in multi-professional and multi-professional work communities and in various cooperation networks.
-is able to implement occupational health-focused medical care / nursing.

The student
- is not able to work independently in public health nurse work that maintains and rehabilitates the health and ability to work of the working age
-does not be able to describe the occupational health care service process.
-is not recognizing and not being able to assess the importance of work, working conditions and the work community to the health and working capacity of the working age well enough.
-is not able to plan and carry out a workplace visit and on the basis of it do not plan the necessary other occupational health care services, provide guidance and counseling and make the necessary development proposals to promote the health and working capacity of clients (client, work community, workplace).
-is not able to plan and carry out key exposure-based and work-maintaining health examinations.
-is not able to work in multi-professional and multi-professional work communities and in various cooperation networks.
-does not be able to implement occupational health-focused medical care.
