Objective

The student
- recognizes the importance of public health work for the health and well-being of the population.
- knows the main aspects of public health and is able to examine the individual and societal determinants of population health at national and global level.
- understands the role of health laws and various health policy instruments in promoting the health of the population.
- is familiar with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and understands the importance of the SDG agenda in securing the well-being of the planet and people.
- is able to consider the role of cultural background in health-related perspectives.
