Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The student knows the basics of solar energy production and lists the most important concepts related to production. The student defines the main aspects of energy production in the food chain. He is able to calculate bills related to solar energy potential. The student names the factors affecting solar energy and lists their effects on energy production and maintenance. The student is able to describe the basic principles of solar energy formation. They are able to identify the most important steps in the transition to solar energy in an individual company.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The student describes the natural science of solar energy production and explains the phenomena related to renewable energy production. The student summarizes the techniques used to produce solar energy and explains the factors affecting them. The student is able to describe the circumstances and justify the use of certain practices in the production of solar energy (eg photovoltaic and solar thermal). The student assesses the profitability of solar energy production and is able to list measures. Students will be able to explain concepts and apply their knowledge to the circumstances of an individual company.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student explains the natural phenomena that solar energy production is based on and interprets, calculates and comments on the related scientific problems and concepts (solar radiation, variation and amount). The student explains the technology used to produce solar energy and analyzes the factors affecting it. The student will be able to describe plans for energy production for companies, compare different options and justify their choices and development proposals. The student compares the profitability factors of solar energy production and is able to analyze development ideas aimed at it.
