Objective

The student knows how to draw up a contract that is not burdened by interpretive ambiguities. He knows how to act as a contracting party. The student can describe the main principles of the trade in movables, especially the rights and obligations of the seller and the buyer in both consumer trade and business-to-business trade. The student can understand the impact of EU law on consumer protection in Finland.

The student knows how to draw up a contract. He can explain the main rights and obligations of the parties to the contract. The student knows how to search for key laws regarding business-to-business trade and consumer trade.

The student knows how to draw up a contract that considers the essential issues. He can explain the rights and obligations of the parties to the contract. The student knows how to search for key laws regarding business-to-business trade and consumer trade and apply them in practice.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student knows how to draw up a contract that is not burdened by interpretive ambiguities. He knows how to act as a contracting party. The student knows how to search for and compare legislation on business-to-business trade and consumer trade and apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
