Objective

The student is able to draw up a legal employment contract and employment certificate. He/she is able to describe and explain the main principles and contents of the Collective Bargaining Act and the Co-operation Act. He knows the main content of the Working Hours Act and the Annual Leave Act.

The student knows the main principles of different payroll systems and masters the tasks of payroll administration in practice. The student is able to solve questions related to the basics of wage determination and payroll systems.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is able to explain e.g. legislation on the rights and obligations of the parties. The student knows the key principles of different payment systems.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to apply the most important regulations of the Working Hours and Annual Leave Act in payroll administration. The student is able to search for and apply in practice matters related to employment, e.g. key legislation on the rights and obligations of the parties.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to search for and apply in practice matters related to employment, e.g. legislation on protection against dismissal. The student is able to apply collective agreements and social legislation in payroll administration.
