Understanding of information seeking processes & theories and application of media-critical competence in practice. Mastering the search methods and theories as part of the work of a librarian.

The student knows the basics of the most important theories of information seeking. Insufficient performance of search tasks in more demanding information searches.

The student knows the main theories of information seeking very well, is able to take a critical approach to media acquisition and considers information seeking as a process, being able to apply what he / she has learned to practice.

The student has an analytical and holistic understanding of different theories of information seeking. He is able to apply what he has learned in many ways to practice. The student knows the various aspects of media literacy and considers things critically. The search for information from different sources is at an excellent level.
