Objective
The student
- Understands the basics of exercise physiology as part of the sport-specific training of the athlete
- Can explain the basics of motor learning in learning and teaching skills
- Can accurately classify physical requirements and load factors in different sports
- Can choose suitable sport-specific methods for measuring and testing an athlete's physical performance
- Can implement a sport performance analysis and thus choose and plan appropriate ways to support the athlete's physical performance

Teaching methods
Opintojaksolla opiskelu tapahtuu verkkovälitteisesti (Moodle oppimisympäristö) itsenäisesti työskennellen ja pääosin pienryhmätyöskentelynä. Opintojaksolla on läsnäoloa vaativia verkkotapaamisia seuraavasti toteutuvissa opetustuokioissa Teamsin välityksellä:
- Opintojakson aloitusinfo to 13.2. klo 14-15:30.
- Opintojakson tehtävän esitykset to 8.5. klo 13:30-15:30.
Opintojaksolle osallistuminen vaatii tietämystä tuki- ja liikuntaelimistön fysioterapiasta, joten suosittelemme, että nämä opinnot ovat käytynä.
Opintojakso alkaa ja Moodle avautuu opiskelijalle 3.2.. Tutustu ensimmäisenä opintojakson aikatauluihin ja tehtäviin. Lisäksi käy tekemässä ennakkotehtävä, jossa esittelet itsesi muille ryhmäläisille.

- is not able to classify physical requirements and load factors for different sports
- can recognize sport-specific methods for measuring and testing the physical performance of an athlete
- can implement a sport performance analysis with guidance and needs support in choosing and planning appropriate ways to support the athlete's physical performance
