Objective
Share of adults and elderly
The student:
- explain the principles of motor learning and teaching
- identify the stages of the human life cycle, crisis theories and explain human psychological processes.
- identify the stress factors associated with the everyday life of a working age person
- explain the physical, psychological and social challenges and changes associated with ageing
- practise measuring and analysing the results of physical fitness and use the results in counselling and guidance skills
- carry out physiotherapy in a client-oriented manner in a variety of individual and group situations, taking into account ethical principles when working with clients and different specialist teams
- deepen their professional skills and expertise as they progress in their studies
Content
- Motor learning and teaching
- Stress factors in the everyday life of working age
- The impact of physiological ageing on functional capacity
- Human development and life cycle theories, crisis theories and psychological processes
- Practising physiotherapy skills in different settings for working age and older people
- Design and implementation of assignments in a practice environment with a pair of students.
- The student will have the opportunity to become familiar with the work of a physiotherapist and with the functional capacity and limitations of working-age and elderly people and their rehabilitation through different physiotherapeutic methods

Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Internships within the course will be assessed as pass/fail. A placement is approved when the student carries out the tasks set for the placement and works interactively in the placement environment to develop his/her own professional growth. The student practices work-life skills and reflection on his/her own performance.
The placement is failed if the student does not carry out the tasks of the placement appropriately and does not work professionally in the placement environment to develop his/her interpersonal skills or professional growth.
