Objective
The student:

-Care guidelines, patient classification systems, quality management systems, quality assurance
-Sectors of patient safety: safe care, safe equipment, safe medication, HaiPro Safety Incident Reporting System 
-Use, recycling and disposal of materials

Teaching methods
Luento, opetuskeskustelu, yksilötehtävät, pienryhmätehtävät, seminaaritehtävä ja esitysseminaari.
Opintojaksosta on rakennettu Moodlekurssi, jossa on luento- ja oheismateriaali, kaikki tehtävien ohjeistukset ja palautukset virtuaalisesti.
