Objective

- The student understands the principles of agile project management and the key differences compared to traditional project management
- After completing the course, the student recognizes the key elements of the chosen agile method (e.g., Scrum) and knows how to plan a development project based on these
- The student recognizes the factors related to the scaling of agile projects and can evaluate agility in project management also critically

Content

- Agile project management principles
- An overview of different agile methods
- The structure, roles, artifacts, and events of the Scrum development team
- Agile project planning and implementation
- Sprint planning and implementation
- Agile quality management and testing, for example, software development
- Scaling agile methods to larger projects

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student can name the principles of agile project management and the roles, artifacts, and events of Scrum. The student understands the structure of an agile project and the content of a sprint. The student recognizes factors and challenges related to scaling agile methods.

The student understands the principles of agile project management and the roles, artifacts, and events of Scrum. The student structures the general structure of the agile project and the content of the sprint. The student can evaluate factors and challenges related to scaling agile methods.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student knows how to apply the principles of agile project management and the roles, artifacts, and events of Scrum. The student knows how to organize the content of an agile project and sprint. The student knows how to apply factors and challenges related to scaling agile methods.
