Objective

Students understand the meaning of quantitative research and are to apply it to research and development activities.

Content

Research designs, concepts used in quantitative research. Quantitative data, their analysis and interpretation.

135 hours of student work that consists of 2 days in campus, self work and assignments partly in Moodle learning environment.

Students can describe the principles and stages of quantitative research.

Students are able to compare types of quantitative research and select quantitative methods that are suitable for the research objectives.

Students are able to critically evaluate types of quantitative research and make use of various quantitative research methods.
