The student

-draws up a nursing care plan for the last phase of a patient’s life in collaboration with the patient, his or her next-of-kin, the physician in charge and other members of the multidisciplinary team.

-encounters and implements nursing care of a dying patient and supports his/ her next-of-kin.
-uses various methods to support the psycho-social and conviction needs of patients and their next-of-kin.
