Objective

Students are able to define the background and theoretical concepts related to multiprofessional work. They know how to explain the general vision and goals of multiprofessional work. Students have adopted the ethical principles for multiprofessional work, including appreciation and respect for various professional competence. Students know how to combine various expertise and how to evaluate and describe their own professional contribution. They are able to make their special competence and expertise (so-called in-depth expertise) available to various networks, teams and client work in a constructive manner. In addition, students master coordinated service packages and know how to plan, coordinate and manage work in networks and multiprofessional teams.

-Concepts related to multiprofessional work and the meaning of the work
-Ethical principles in multiprofessional work
-Dialogical interaction, consultation and organizational communication in multiprofessional work
-Coordination, organization and management of multiprofessional work
-How to describe one's expertise and evaluate one's action as part of multiprofessional collaboration
-Making use of various professionals' competence during the client's service process
-The client's participation in multiprofessional activity

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Students are able to define the concept and objectives of multiprofessional work, based on theoretical knowledge. They are able to describe roles, tasks and expectations for experts of social work and services in multiprofessional work contexts. Students can describe the special competence requirements for professionals dealing with complex situations. They can describe the multiprofessional collaboration process, including its effects at the level of individuals, communities and society. Students know how to encourage client participation and accommodate knowledge from other experts to social knowledge. They are able to identify their competencies and development needs in multiprofessional work.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Students are able to comprehensively examine the roles, tasks and expectations for experts of social work and services in multiprofessional work contexts, as well as problematic points and the respective skill requirements in various multiprofessional work contexts. Students are able to coordinate, organize and manage multiprofessional work. They know how to receive and make use of the knowledge provided by other experts They are able to evaluate the effects of multiprofessional work.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Students are able to compare the nature of social work expertise with expertise in other professions. They know how to analyze problematic points and the underpinning ethical and professional factors in multiprofessional work, and how to evaluate the effectiveness of the work. Students are able to present and, based on theoretical knowledge, justify creative and innovative solutions for implementing multiprofessional work. They know how to consult other professionals and how to make use of client experiences. Students can analyze and critically reflect on their competenciens for multiprofessional collaboration.
