Objective

Understands the main turning points of cultural history. Student understands how different phenomena are dependent on each other and what influences they have.

Content

The basic terminology and turning points of culture are studied on the course. All students become familiar with an optional part of culture history and write an essay about it. The aim is to understand better modern cultural phenomena by understanding the historical perspective of culture and its development.

Understands the basics of historical development and knows the basic terminology. The written content produced by the student is poor and does not show much effort.

Understands the main lines of cultural history and knows its most important turning points. The student is active and can justify their opinions.

Excellent understanding of cultural phenomena and their influence on modern culture. The student is also able to show critical thinking in their answers.
