Objective
The students can recognise how to use quality systems and own-checking descriptions in practise. They can apply hygienic practises to prevent the spreading of pathogens, to minimise disease pressure and to promote animal health. They can select good designs at farm level. They can identify chemical risks.

The students can satisfactorily describe own-checking and quality systems and identify measures needed. They can define cleaning and design procedures needed to prevent animal diseases.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The students can sketch own-checking and quality systems. They can distinguish use of cleaning chemicals and other practises in maintaining animal health.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The students can select supporting systems for the own-checking and quality systems. They can develop correct procedures to safeguard the biosecurity at farm level.
