The student
-participates in evaluation and development of public health services.
-develops public health nursing based on evidence and according to the needs of society and working life.
-keeps up to date with research and development ideas and applies them in his/ her work.
-evaluates and develops professional competence according to the challenges of working life.
Content
Evidence-based development of public health nurse's work. Evaluation of development needs for different sectors. Latest research results and development recommendations to different sectors in public health nursing. Evaluation and development of her / his own professional competence.

- critically evaluates, applies and uses evidence-based information in the development of public health nursing work and its services.
- develops herself/himself and the activities and quality of nursing work in accordance with the professional ethical principles of the public health nurse.
