Objective

Student deepends his/hers knowledge of protein crops or insects, processing of proteins and marketing of protein products. Students will learn to set goals, make a plan and the implementation of the project as well as to evaluate it.

This course is based on Protein crops or Insects- course and can be made only if student has taken part to the course of Protein crops. or Insects.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The following issues will be addressed in the project evaluation:
• a project plan
• status report (if agreed)
• Project results and final report (possibly also interim report)
• Presentation of project work and presence in others' presentations
• Company feedback on project performance and results
• the group's own assessment of the work.

In addition, the project work itself influences the evaluation:
• student's attitude towards project work
• informing the trainers about the progress of the project
• developing action based on comments
• staying on schedule.

The scale and complexity of the project also affect the evaluation. Group members may be given different grades.

The project as a whole is satisfactory, in some respects good, but it is not sufficient to raise the overall evaluation to a good level.
