Objective

Students will be competent in assessing the impacts changes in the environment outside an enterprise have on the strategy, leadership and organisational culture in the enterprise. They will be able to analyse the relationships between an enterprise's strategy, organisational structure and human resources system. They will also be able to analyse and develop their own leadership skills.

Students will be knowledgeable of the traditional theories and practices of leadership and the impacts they have on the atmosphere of an organisation, the commitment of the staff to develop their performance and the motivation of individuals. They will be competent in functioning as a member of the work community and in planning, promoting and carrying out activities in the work community. Students will also be able to utilise practices associated with development discussions in the management of the expertise in an organisation, as a person in charge and as a subordinate.

The student knows the most important things in management skills. The student is able to interpret the totality of supervisory work and leadership as well as the importance of management for successful activities. He / she is able to distinguish between the basic concepts of management and the aspects of human resource management.

The student is able to act as a member of the work community, plan, promote and implement the activities of the work community. The student knows the basics of labor law and is able to search for and apply in practice the legislation concerning the rights and obligations of the parties related to the employment relationship.
