Objective

The student knows the basic concepts related to databases, the basics of data management, the relational model, and the data design process in accordance with the steps of data analysis. The student knows the basics of the query language.

The student knows how to design a database structure. The student knows the basics of the query language and is able to perform addition, deletion, update, and search operations on the database.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to design and build a database. The student is able to use the survey language effectively.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to design and build a database according to good practices. The student is able to use the query language effectively and in a versatile way. The student has a broad understanding of the aspects related to databases, for example in connection with information security and optimization.
