Osaamistavoitteet

Students can identify different quality ideologies. Students can explain the basic concept of quality control. Students can use common quality tools and statistical process control. Student can identify quality costs and their significance.
The student has basic knowledge about:
- holistic sustainable management and its dimensions (environmental, social, economic)
- the environmental factors affecting human beings and their operational environment,
- renewable and non-renewable natural resources
- the relations between production activities and the environment
- the effects of production at local, regional, and global levels.
The student is aware of the methods, and how to decrease the negative effects of production on the environment.
Students understand the Environmental and Sustainable Governance reports and can develop and apply their methodologies.

The student has basic knowledge about the environmental factors and relations between industrial activities and the environment. The student knows satisfyingly the ways to control the harmful effects of humans and industrial activities to the nature.
