Objective
The student knows how to define the role and importance of project activities in the tasks of a social counselor.
The student can identify project work as one of the tools of social work and social counseling.
The student can name the characteristic features of project activities in the social and health sector.
The student can describe the project work process and name the core tasks included in the different phases.
The student can identify and name the prerequisites for a successful project.

Teaching methods
Course is mainly studied by independent study and by small groups. Course includes classroom teaching also for example lessons, conversations, working with small groups and interviewing the project manager.

Students make an appointment with a project manager which had chosen.
Exam schedules
Exam at week 5. Exercise presentations at week 10.

The student can describe the stages and process of the project. The student knows the most important funding sources for projects in the social and health sector. The student can name the key elements of project communication and management.

The student knows how to describe project concepts, activities, phases, and processes in a versatile way. The student identifies and describes the meaningful connections between project communication, management, and a successful project

The student can define and describe the role and importance of project activities in the social and health sector and in the tasks of a social counselor. The student knows how to comprehensively explain project concepts. The student knows how to analyze the operation of the project, its phases, and its processes.
