Objective
The student can describe purchasing processes and can also explain the role of purchasing in creating and maintaining competitiveness in a firm. The student recognizes the central mechanisms involved in managing a supply chain. The student can describe and classify purchasing processes and compare alternative purchasing strategies. The student recognizes the main special characteristics of public procurement and is able to find further information on them.

Hankintajohtamisen kurssin opetusmenetelminä ovat luennot, esitykset, tosielämän tapaustutkimukset, ryhmäprojektit, simulaatiot ja roolipelit, vierailevat puhujat tai alan asiantuntijat sekä tehtävät - Teoreettisen ymmärryksen vahvistamiseksi ja yksilöllisen edistymisen arvioimiseksi. Nämä menetelmät on suunniteltu tasapainottamaan teoriaa käytännön soveltamisen kanssa.
