Objective

The student knows how to meet clients, families and community members as an expert of one's own life. He/she is able to treat clients/patients with respect, as an active agent during the care. The student is able to communicate in a professional and therapeutic context with clients and family members of various ages. The student can evaluate and develop his/her interaction and co-operation skills. The student assumes responsibility for his/her course of action.

The individual, family and community as a client. Interaction and cooperation skills. Professional and therapeutic interaction. Care delivery models, working in pairs and teams. Networking skills.

Satisfactory (1-2)
The student recognizes strengths and weaknesses in his/her interaction and co-operation skills, seeks to develop his/her skills and to adapt his/her course of action accordingly. The student is able to act in individual interaction and co-operation situations according to instructions. He/she knows how to use a client-centred approach and how to act as a member of a team. The student participates in the learning process and shares knowledge with his/her peers. The student knows how to work with various actors in a professional manner, observing equality principles. He/she examines his/her strengths and development needs in relation to client-centred professional competence.

Good (3-4)
The student examines strengths and weaknesses in his/her interaction and co-operation skills, seeks to develop his/her skills and to adapt his/her action accordingly. The student is competent to act in interaction and co-operation situations, using a client-centred approach. The student actively participates in the learning process and shares knowledge with his/her peers. The student knows how to work with various actors and explain the reasons for one's actions in a professional manner, observing equality principles. The student develops client-centred professional competence.

Excellent (5)

The student assesses strengths and weaknesses in his/her interaction and co-operation skills, develops his/her skills and adapts his/her action accordingly. The student is competent to act in interaction and co-operation situations, using a client-centered approach. He/she is able to contribute to the work of various teams in a client-centered professional manner. The student assumes responsibility for the learning process and sharing of knowledge among peers. The student actively works with various actors and explains the reasons for one's actions in a professional manner, observing equality principles. He/she actively develops himself/ herself and client-centered professional competence.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Failed = 0
The student recognizes strengths and weaknesses in interaction and has co-operation skills, but does not seek to develop himself/herself or to adapt his/her action accordingly. The student is not able to act in a professional manner in interaction and co-operation situations. He/she is not able to follow instructions to demonstrate client-centred professional competence. The student does not participate in the learning process nor shares knowledge with his/her peers. The student does not want to or does not know how to work with various actors in a a professional manner, observing equality principles.
