Construction with Pre-fabricated Units on a SiteLaajuus (3 cr)

Code: 8H00DS60

Objective

Work and Environmental Safety in Construction
Students understand the meaning of a site plan from the perspective of the success of installation work on site.
Students know how to manage the installation of elements and how to prepare an installation plan, also considering occupational safety.
Students perceive what types of hoisting equipment and hoisting accessories are used in the installation of elements and understand the grounds for choosing the equipment.
They also understand the meaning of logistics from the perspective of the success of installation work on site.

Competence in the construction process
Students know the key principles of making a site plan. They understand the importance of design for logistics.

Competence in structural engineering
Students know how to draw up a site plan for a site and an installation plan for elements.

Content

- Planning construction site and site logistics
- Hoisting elements and safety
