Objective

Work and Environmental Safety in Construction
Students are able to manage the installation of elements and prepare an installation plan for the elements, taking into account occupational safety requirements. They are able to take into account the requirements of logistics and planning from the point of view of occupational and environmental safety.

Competence in the construction process
Students know the basics of construction site logistics. They understand that logistics planning is part of the production planning of the entire construction project.

Competence in structural engineering
Students know how to draw up an installation plan for elements.

Content

- element logistics on site and planning construction site logistics
- hoisting elements and safety
- most common element types on site
- contents and design of installation plan for elements
- joints in element construction
- recycling of concrete elements
- mandatory visit to a factory

Qualifications

Building Construction.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Students know the basic concepts of construction with prefabricated units and the measures required by occupational safety. They are able to define how the installation of prefabricated units is done and make an acceptable site plan and installation plan for a simple construction site. They are able to describe the importance of logistics in building with prefabricated units.

.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Students are able to use the concepts of construction with prefabricated units and find the occupational safety risks of chosen solutions and the ways to minimize them. They are able to define how the installation of prefabricated units is done and make a good site plan and installation plan for a construction site. They are able to exploit logistics solutions in the planning of a safe implementation of building with prefabricated units.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Students are able to apply the concepts of construction with prefabricated units to different situations, paying attention to the occupational safety risks of chosen solutions and the ways to minimize them. They are able to plan the implementation of the installation of prefabricated units very well and make a very good site plan and installation plan for a construction site. Students are able to compare and apply different logistic solutions in the planning of a safe implementation of a production chain of building with prefabricated units.
