Objective

The student will have a good knowledge of English standard language. In addition he/she will be able to use both in writing and orally field-specific vocabulary needed in studies.

The student is aware of the key grammatical challenges faced by a Finnish user of the English language and is able to take them into account in their own linguistic output to some extent. Yet, the reduction and avoidance of grammatical errors requires particular attention and conscious effort.
