Competencies in focusAt the end of the course the student will-Have awareness of how climate change impacts ourhealth-Be able to describe the impacts of climate changeon human health-Identify opportunities for nurses to engage inaction and advocacy to move climate solutionsforwardLearning outcomesAt the end of the course the students will be ableto:-Assess the seriousness and urgency ofclimate change-Recognize the main effects of climatechange, their implications for our present andfuture lives.-Identify the causes of these changes andthe key processes that determine their effects-Identify the critical required actions, ona personal, national and global level-Define key concepts related to climatechange-Identify the major risks associated withhuman-induced climate change-Recognize the actions we need to take
