Objective

Upon completion of the course, students will be competent in:
- designing 3D-parts and assemblies with PDM (Product Data Management) systems.
- be able to produce high-quality manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, parts lists and other design documents,
- designing sheet metal parts as well as welded parts with appropriate documentation.
- designing parametric part families.
- utilising the special design tools in CAD, such as frame design, pipe design, motion control, visualization, various parametric parts and features with standard parts library.
