Objective
The student
-applies in practice their knowledge of major developmental disabilities and becoming disabled in their nursing care of persons who have developmental disabilities or who have become disabled.

Interventions in the nursing care of the disabled
Supporting the functional capacity of persons with developmental disorders or having become disabled
Health promotion, self-care support and rehabilitation in nursing clients with special needs and their next-of-kin.
