Competence in structural engineering
Students are familiar with house construction materials, their properties, manufacturing processes, types and uses of products, and the required installations and work methods. Students are aware of the health and environmental impact of materials. They are also capable of seeking information independently to develop their communication and interaction skills.
- Manufacturing methods of the more common materials
- Properties of the materials
- Products manufactured of the materials
- Health and environmental impacts
- The fire characteristics of the materials
