Objective
Student - Knows the nutritional needs of reindeer - Can make a sustainable winter feeding plan for reindeer herd - Recognizes most common feeding illnesses and diseases of reindeer and knows how to prevent them in feeding planning - Knows special features of reindeer grazing - Knows most common winter feeds for reindeer and their effect on the reindeer's well-being - Knows how to choose right kind of feed and calculate need for feeding for different reindeer herds - Identify most common illnesses and diseases that impair reindeer well-being in winter feeding - Knows most common equipment, machines and structures used in reindeer winter feeding - Knows importance of logistics in winter reindeer feeding - Can calculate costs of feeding - Can plan a functional feeding solution for either winter garden feeding or field feeding.

1-2 Opiskelija osaa kuvailla poron ravitsemuksellisia tarpeita. Opiskelijan ruokintasuunnitteluosaaminen on yksipuolista ja keskittyy muutaman osa-alueen tarkasteluun.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
3-4 Opiskelija osaa laskea erilaisia ruokintavaihtoehtoja porolle. Opiskelija pystyy hahmottamaan poron ruokintakokonaisuuden ja tekemään perustellun ja kattavan ruokintasuunnitelman.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
5 Opiskelija osaa yhdistää poron ruokintaosaamiseen poron ravitsemuksellisen tarpeen, ruokinnassa käytettävät koneet ja laitteet, logistiikan, ruokinnan taloudellisuuden ja poron hyvinvoinnin. Opiskelija osaa tuoda perusteltuja kehittämisehdotuksia poron ruokintaan.
