Objective

Upon completion of the course, the student will be competent in
- doing 3D-vectors calculations.
- using vectors to solve problems pertaining to space geometry.
- calculating basic matrix functions.
- using calcultion tools
- using their acquired knowledge in their Professional Studies and the working world.

- Summing vectors
- Unit vectors
- Scalar product and cross product of vectors
- Scalar component and vector component
- Scalar triple product
- Vectors in statics
- Determinants
- Matrix algebra

Qualifications

Algebra and Trigonometry.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

1 students understands the basics of vectors and matrices
3 student understands and is able to apply the methods of vectors and matrices well
5 student understands and is able to apply the methods of vectors and matrices excellently
