Objective
Students can explain what is meant by social work theory and methods and evaluate them in relation to practice.
Content
Social work as a theoretically grounded profession. Various theories as a foundation of social work. Different practices and implementations in social work methods. Students become familiar with social work theories and explore their own relationship with them in practice.

Students know and are able to describe what is meant by social work theory and methods. Students are able to compare their action to social work theories and methods.
