Osaamistavoitteet

Students will acquire profound knowledge of various models pertaining to ethical behaviour, environmental management, employee behaviour, employee relations, corporation and society.

Sisältö

The student will examine a variety of approaches to ethical behaviour in the business environment and environmental management. Emphasis is placed upon ethical issues related to employee behaviour, employee relations, and consumer relations and between the corporation and society. Extensive use is made of case analyses, current events and individual research to help the student achieve the educational objectives of this course.

Student has shown in the course ability to comprehend the concepts of the course and apply the concepts in practical business cases: Student has been able to develop creative solutions in the assignment of the course.
Good (4-3): The student has carried out work very well and participated actively and constructively. Student has shown in the course ability to comprehend the concepts of the course and apply the concepts in practical business cases: Student has been able to develop solutions for the case company in the assignment of the course.
Satisfactory (2-1): The student has participated actively in the course. Student has shown in the course ability to comprehend the basic concepts of the course: Student has been able to use the basic concepts of the course in the case company?s assignment.

Toteutustavat

The course includes lectures, reading of the textbooks, and writing of essays. Also, students are required to write a report on ethical or environmental issues.
