Students will
- know what human life spans involve
- become aware of central psychological processes and of their role in behaviour and learn to observe how emotions affect the body
- understand how the environment and social interaction affect functional capacity and wellbeing

- Human development and life span
- Impact of stress on the components of physical fitness and bodily systems
- Sensory functions
- Arousal, emotions, motivation, personality, and mental self-regulation
- Factors promoting human function, health and well-being
