SEAMK’s Welfare and Wellbeing Technology study module offers a timely overview of digitalisation, technological solutions and remote services in the social and health care sector. The training provides a broad introduction to technologies and digital services used in the field, exploring their potential in supporting daily functioning, strengthening client-centered approaches, and improving service accessibility. Students will gain an understanding of the role of technology in promoting wellbeing, learn to assess ethical and data security aspects of its use, and examine the principles of sustainable development in the context of technological applications.

The module covers, among other things, technologies that support independent living at home, as well as applications of robotics, artificial intelligence and mobile health technology. Students will develop the ability to identify and assess the suitability of various technologies for different client needs and to design smooth, user-centered service solutions.
