-has an understanding of the diagnosis, etiology, effects, prevention, and treatment of the most common diseases.
-knows the mechanisms of infectious disease, the body's defense system and the prevention of infectious diseases by getting acquainted with microbes, normal human microbial infections, infectious diseases and infectious microbes.
-is able to solve common tasks and problems related to safe vaccination.

The student
-provides an understanding of the diagnosis, etiology, effects, prevention and treatment of the most common diseases.
-is able to describe the mechanisms of infectious disease, the body's defense system and the prevention of infectious diseases by getting acquainted with microbes, normal human microbial infections, infectious diseases and infectious microbes.
-can use evidence-based knowledge of immunization and vaccination.

-creates an overall picture of the classification of disorders and illnesses.
