Objective

The course aims to introduce students to the basics of web design and graphics. Students learn how to design and implement visually appealing websites with a marketing perspective.

- The basics of web design with the tools in use
- Graphic design tools and techniques
- User-centered design
- Responsive design and usability
- The importance of colors and typography in web design
- Implementation of a website for a fictitious company or a real company as an assignment

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The designed website is basic. The site partially meets the set goals, but there may be shortcomings in responsiveness or user-friendliness.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The designed website is visually attractive and works with different display technologies. The website offers a good user experience and is designed with user-centered principles in mind. The use of colors and typography is well thought out and supports the purpose of the site.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

A designed website is visually appealing and professional-looking. The site is responsive and offers users an excellent user experience on different devices. The design has made versatile use of color and typography in an attractive way.
