Objective

A student can do different kind of profitability calculations. He/she uses the present value method and the annuity method.
He uses and controls economic functions like supply and demand functions, and expense and yield functions. He can determine marginal costs and revenues. A student is able to understand the elasticity of the function.

The student is able to carry out the calculations concerning the course topics at least satisfactorily.

The student is able to carry out the calculations concerning the course topics at a good level and apply the methods of financial mathematics to problem solving in business.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to carry out the calculations concerning the course topics at a very good level and apply various methods of financial mathematics to problem solving in business.
