Osaamistavoitteet

This course provides knowledge and skills from the fields of Sustainable Vehicle Design, Sustainable Product Quality Planning, Systems Thinking in Automotive SDCM, Green Logistics and Manufacturing in Automotive Industry, Sustainability Reporting and Sustainable Procurement.

Sisältö

After completing the course, student will be able to:
- apply basic principles and tools of sustainable procurement in the automotive industry.
- explain new approaches in vehicle designing and quality management with regard to sustainability.
- explain the concept of sustainable mobility and sustainable automotive industry.
- identify the difference between invention and innovation in SSCM and will understand the basic philosophy of green logistics.
- understand the role of sustainability reporting as an instrument to measure and manage the sustainability performance.

Student demonstrates an understanding of the fundamental concepts of sustainable vehicle design and supply chain management, such as eco-friendly materials, energy efficiency, and waste reduction. Student also identifies key elements that contribute to sustainable practices in vehicle design and supply chain operations.

Student shows a comprehensive understanding of the integration of sustainability principles within the automotive industry, including knowledge of green technologies, life cycle assessment, and regulatory frameworks. Student also applies theoretical understanding to analyze and evaluate the impact of sustainable design choices on vehicle manufacturing and the supply chain.

Student exhibits an in-depth and critical understanding of advanced sustainable design strategies and their practical application in the automotive sector. Student also demonstrates the ability to propose innovative solutions or strategies for enhancing sustainability in vehicle design, production, and supply chain management.
