Objective

The purpose of this course is to provide knowledge and tools of management accounting for the students. By using management accounting managers and other employees can be motivated towards organization’s goals. After completing this course, the students have an overview of management accounting and its importance in planning, decision making and control. The students can distinguish between financial and management accounting. The students are able to recognize the basic terminology, principles and procedures within the management accounting field. The students are able to use various analytical tools and methods of management accounting. The students are able to critically evaluate and develop management accounting in an organization.
