Objective

The student is able to:

· Identify the potential of podcasts as a means of communication
· knows the working stages of podcast production, the basics of technology and audio narration
· Design and implement target group-based content
· Use tools and tools related to podcast content production
· Market the content produced

Content

· Podcasts as a communication tool in the library and information services
. Stages of podcast content production
· Getting to know recording facilities and technology and publishing platforms
· Writing, recording, editing and publishing your own podcast episode
· Podcast marketing

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Pass:
The student participates actively in close-up meetings and exercises held in connection with them. The student recognizes the potential and importance of podcasts as a means of communication in the library and information services industry. She knows the stages of podcast content production and is able to utilize the tools and technology needed to produce a podcast. Students are able to plan, write, record, edit and publish their own podcast episode and market it.

Fail:
Students occasionally or rarely participate in teaching and exercises. He does not recognize the potential of podcasts in the library and information services industry and does not master the stages of podcast content production and the tools and technology needed to do so. The student does not demonstrate the ability to be responsible for the production of the podcast sequence independently.
