Tavoitteet
The student is able to communicate on the topic and process of his/her thesis work and report about the results of the research or development work.
Sisältö
The student gives three presentations during the one-semester seminar:
- oral report of practical training
- presentation of the thesis plan
- presentation of the completed thesis

Opetusmenetelmät
The study will be implemented as contact lessons in campus. Students can participate seminar sessions online too. Sessions will be arranged every other week throughout the academic year. There's approximately 18 - 19 sessions during academic year.
The study includes listening and giving seminar presentations, giving feedback and having discussions. Teachers give advices and feedback too. The study is part of thesis writing process. Students can join the study at that time, when thesis is topical issue of their studies.

A thesis includes a research project, which is carried out as an assignment for a real company.
Tenttien ajankohdat ja uusintamahdollisuudet
The study doesn't include an exam. Passing the course requires attendance to five seminars and giving three presentations about own thesis process (topic analysis, thesis plan and final thesis presentation). All presentations should be uploaded to Moodle learning environment too. The study continues non-stop, so students can continue the course as long as needed.
Opiskelijan ajankäyttö ja kuormitus
Student workload will be formed of participation to seminar sessions and preparing thesis presentations. One seminar takes time two hours.
The student needs to participate at least five seminars:
- Two seminars, where student listens other students' seminar presentations
- One seminar, where student presents a topic analysis of thesis
- One seminar, where student presents a thesis plan
- One seminar, where student presents a final thesis

For the pass grade participation and presentations are required.
