Objective

The student
- is able to identify the main concepts of pathology and name the causes of diseases.
- understand the diagnosis, causes, manifestations, prevention and treatment of the most common diseases and the medical classification of diseases.
- can describe the mechanism of pathogenesis of infectious diseases and the prevention of the body's defenses through an introduction to microbes, the normal human microbiota, the modes of transmission of infectious diseases and the microbes that cause infectious diseases.

-recognizes the main concepts of disease and can name the causes of diseases.
-understands the diagnosis, causes, manifestations, prevention and treatment of the most common diseases.
-understands the mechanism of infectious diseases and the body's defense system, having studied microbes, the normal human microbiota, the modes of transmission of infectious diseases and the microbes that cause infectious diseases.

The student
-uses key concepts of disease and describes the causes of diseases.
-can describe the diagnosis, causes, manifestations, prevention and treatment of the most common diseases.
-recognizes the classification system of diseases.
-can describe the mechanism of pathogenesis and the body's defenses against infectious diseases and, having become familiar with microbes, the normal human microbiota, the modes of transmission of infectious diseases and the microbes that cause infectious diseases.
