OVERVIEW
The aim of this international exchange program is to develop students' knowledge in social healthcare and nursing from an international comparative perspective. Coordinators and faculty members from both institutes actively participate in organizing, developing, hosting, and evaluating the program. Students will have the opportunity to learn and experience various fields of healthcare and nursing, as well as immerse themselves in different cultures and lifestyles of each country.
PROGRAM
• Key concept
The program aims to develop students' knowledge in social healthcare and nursing from an international comparative perspective. It fosters interactive work among students from the hosting institute, promoting cross-cultural collaboration and idea exchange.
The program emphasizes multidisciplinary learning, allowing nursing students to collaborate on projects with students from other disciplines such as engineering or business. This approach encourages innovative problem-solving and broadens students' perspectives on healthcare challenges in a global context.
Cultural immersion activities, including visits to local healthcare facilities, participation in traditional ceremonies, and community engagement projects, deepen students' understanding of the host country's healthcare practices and customs.
Collaborative teaching methods such as lectures, panel discussions, independent study, co-education, and facility visits facilitate comprehensive learning experiences. Students engage in group processes that encourage content exploration and active learning, fostering teamwork and critical thinking skills.
Cultural understanding and intercultural competence are promoted through language classes, guided tours to historical sites, and interactions with the local community.
