Objective

The student knows various drugs and medicines and can use them appropriately to treat diseases and dysfuncion. The student is familiar with the effective mechanisms of medicines and understands how drugs affect the organism. The students knows the central features, uses and side and combined effects of common drugs.

Drugs and medicines. Appropriate use of medicines. Effective mechanisms of medicines. Medicines for different purposes. Side and combined effects.

Teaching methods

Toteutus: Moodle - toteutus Itä-Suomen yliopiston verkkokurssina

Tavoitteet: Opiskelija tuntee erilaiset lääkeaineet ja lääkevalmisteet. Opiskelija tietää perusteet eri lääkkeiden vaikutusmekenismeista elimistössä.
Opiskelija tietää lääkkeiden keskeisimmät ominaisuudet, käyttötarkoitukset sekä haitta- ja yhteisvaikutukset.
