Objective
Competence in the construction process.
The student is familiar with the different levels of urban planning in Finland. The student is familiar with the fundaments of the legislation on the steps of urban planning.
The student understands the basic principles of land use planning in Finland.
The student understands the objectives of urban planning and is familiar with the legislation on the land use planning and building. The student is able to interpret town plans and understands the effects of zoning ordinances on construction projects.

The student is familiar with the basics of plot policy, official practices of urban planning and zoning process. The student knows the different levels of urban planning. The student is able to search for information in the town plan for their construction project.

The student is familiar with plot policy, official practices of urban planning and zoning process. The student knows the different levels of urban planning. The student is able to search for information in the town plan for their construction project and apply it in different situations in working life and in different construction projects.

The student understands plot policy, official practices of urban planning and zoning process. The student knows the different levels of urban planning. The student is able to search for information in different plans, interpret plans, and apply information in them in demanding situations in working life and construction projects.
